How we proceed: 

Before diesel particulate filter cleaning begins, every soot filter is examined with an endoscope and checked for mechanical damage (threaded fittings, parts from the turbocharger, etc.). The soot filter is then weighed and subjected to a pressure measurement.

Pressure measurement of the soot filters:

An electronically controlled blower blows a precisely defined volume of air through the soot particulate filter. The pressure upstream of the filter is measured at the same time. This allows us to reliably determine the loading (contamination) of every particulate filter. The same principle is used in the vehicle by the sensors and the engine management system.

After six cleaning cycles, the pressure measurement is repeated. If the soot filter reaches the reference values of a new particulate filter, the cleaning was successful. If the readings are not yet sufficient, further cleaning cycles follow until your particulate filter reaches the required values.
